  Dr bloom was attentive, took a lot of time with me, explained my situation in detail and refused all outside interruptions while he was consulting with me as a new patient. I have had 2 additional follow-up appointments with him, all appointments have been on time, and he has answered all my questions. I was VERY SICK my first visit, and the treatment he recommended got me back on my feet fairly quickly. The CT scan radiologist recommended a bronchoscopy, but Dr Bloom wanted me to wait until the meds had a chance to work before putting me through that. The xray taken about 9 days later was clear and showed no need for that procedure. I see the comments about lack of bedside manner, I think it's just that Dr bloom is more of a serious person and focuses on the problem and treatment. I want a doctor who knows what he'S doing, if a bedside manner comes with it then that's a bonus for me. As a patient, I go to a doctor for results, and dr. Bloom delivered.
